ACCOUNTING TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform business requirements analysis and design
• Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or processes to meet client requirements
• Perform gap analysis between Dynamics functionality and client’s requirements
• Install and deliver Dynamics
• Train users on Dynamics
• Troubleshoot problems and formulate resolutions
• Develop data conversion and testing strategies
• Manage client expectations
• Interface with peers to ensure team success
Skills, Experience and Competencies:
Minimum Requirements
• Three to five years experience in an accounting manager or senior accountant role
• General understanding of business processes as they relate to the accounting function
• Strong time-management skills
• Well developed analytical and reasoning abilities
• Detail oriented
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
Additional Desired Requirements
• General knowledge of ERP software solutions
• Basic understanding of Dynamics Financials, Distribution and Project Accounting modules
• Experience with Crystal Reports and/or FRx
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications
• Accounting experience in wealth management, portfolio management, financial markets, venture capital, family office, or real estate accounting
