Cendien is currently looking for several Lawson AS400 consultants to assist with upgrades, migrations,development and system support. Most of the projects can be done remotely so no major travel is required. However, you will be expected to visit client site on occasions (go-live, etc).
You will assist with technical assessments, customization analysis and scoping, customization development and unit testing, technical troubleshooting. You will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem solving skills to help with projects. Project Management Experience a Big Plus.
You will need extensive experience with LAWSON on the AS400 platform preferably in roles other than just development.
Required Skills:
o LID command line
o AS400 Lawson platform experience
o 4GL Lawson programs and CASE tools
o COBOL (Lawson 9.0 knowledge a plus)
o Lawson technical acumen preferred
o Lawson file structures and file layout
o Lawson interface mechanics and best practices
o Basic Lawson command line, e.g., mgdbdump and importdb
o Effective verbal and written communication skills
o Familiarity with use of project methodologies
