SUMMARY:
The Account Executive manages and services customer accounts, while continually marketing and selling the company’s services to meet and exceed the company’s sales objectives. The Account Executive is responsible for understanding the customers’ needs, values, and expectations, and establishing long-term relationships to continually build business and remain profitable. The Account Executive is also responsible to be the liaison between the external client and the internal delivery teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop new prospects and maintains relationships with existing customers to increase/expand sales of the company’s services
• Create and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plan to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the organization
• Attain assigned sales quota
• Responsible for account development and maintenance; financial updates are required to provide to accounting on a weekly and monthly basis
• Visit potential customers to demonstrate new services and gain new markets
• Gather market and customer information
• Attend conferences, trade shows, and conventions to promote services and develop networking opportunities
• Review and work to continually improve own sales performance
• Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills
• Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business and requirements
• Effectively communicate important information to employees, clients and other management team members – both verbal, written, and public speaking
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by President
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• General knowledge and familiarity of Legal Document Copying and Scanning preferred
• General knowledge of Legal Electronic Discovery Services preferred
• General knowledge and familiarity of Imaging Services to hospital, municipal, and corporate customers preferred
• Personable, energetic and strong willingness to learn
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Aggressive and motivated to obtain new business
• Competitive spirit with strong negotiating skills
• Flexible with schedule and working hours
• Superior ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
• Ability to identify issues and propose solutions
• Ability to work in a team environment with different personalities
• Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proficient in computer software programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field through an accredited four-year college or university
• Sales experience with another company
