About the Position:
A Fort Worth-based franchise of HomeVestors is looking to hire a highly motivated Buyer to buy real estate properties for the company. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented, sales-focused individual to fill this role. The Buyer role is critical to the success of the team. This person is directly accountable to the management team and will meet with the team daily to discuss strategies and the progress of pending deals.
Responsibilities:
• Retrieves Buy Call information from Coordinator or person who receives the lead
• Determines comps for the property and uses the information to determine the property value
• Works with property seller to set viewing appointment(s)
• Negotiates with property seller to purchase property
• Determines any repair costs and makes offer to the seller
• Ensures seller signs the contract and reviews the executed purchase contract with management
• Manages all communication with seller from viewing to closing
• Maintains regular follow-up communication with any sellers that do not accept offers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must have a hunger for sales and a passion for closing deals
• Must be a very motivated self-starter
• Sales experience required; B2C sales preferred, B2B sales experience in an aggressive, heavily cold-call focused environment will be considered
• Must be assertive, self-confident, and driven to succeed in a sales role
• Passionate about the real estate industry
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and able to manage multiple projects at one time
