Backyard Organics specializes in designing and maintaining handcrafted organic vegetable and herb gardens. We take a proactive and preventative approach to our organic gardens and maintain them on a weekly basis. We are looking for an individual who is inspired by organic gardening, and who is reliable and responsible.
As a member of the Backyard Organics staff, the Organic Gardener will be guided by principals of gardening ecologically and organically. Initially the gardener will work with one or two other gardeners then graduate to working independently.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
• The Organic Gardener will be required to maintain, plant, and harvest vegetable and herb gardens.
• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and working vehicle in good condition to drive to and from client sites.
• Candidate must be willing to work and communicate with clients.
• Candidate must be able to work independently.
• Candidate must be able to spray organic solutions.
• Candidate must have a natural love and passion for horticulture.
• Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
Experience:
Vegetable and herb organic gardening experience is preferred. Tree trimming experience is a plus.
Availability: Immediately.
Must be available over the holiday season.
