To help in the development, production and maintenance of a new concept in "food entertainment." We are developing an interactive website and webseries to be produced entirely in Manhattan, focusing on the lives of New York foodies. We are seeking a dedicated intern who is a food enthusiast and/or considers her/himself knowledgeable about the NYC restaurant scene. Extremely strong writing skills are a must. Experience with any of the following is a bonus: Photoshop, HTML (particularly building web pages), photography, film/video editing, cooking. Candidate should have a working knowledge (though fluency is always a bonus) with Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Mac and PC Platforms.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to work in new media/production as well as gain insight and make contacts in the upper reaches of the NY food industry and entertainment scene. Ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and at a home office (West Village) and should be a self-starter capable of handling a variety of tasks, both creative and mundane. We are a small crew with a lot on our plates (so to speak) so please do not apply if you are not committed to following through.
This is an unpaid internship, so we’re looking for those interested in building their portfolios and realizing their creative input with an exciting new venture.
