Position Description – Academic Consultant

• Provide one-on-one academic support and test preparation to students in their home. Emphasis on all core academic subjects: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, IPC, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Spanish, History, English. Preparation for standardized tests: SAT Reasoning Test, SAT Subject Tests, PSAT, AP exams, ACT, TAKS, ISEE, SSAT, HSPT.
• Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting on a regular basis to clarify learning problems, work on study skills, and prepare for exams.
• Develop professional, meaningful relationships to offer student assistance in developing strong study and work habits, increase self-esteem and enhance motivation for achieving scholastic goals.

An Academic Consultant is more than a tutor; he/she is also a mentor. We provide complete paid training, flexible scheduling, and offer an extremely competitive compensation package.
